Post Files

Post Files is for uploading files for students and parents to download.  Also, any file you upload to this section can be placed in any of your posts, as a link or an image directly on your website. Since uploading files often takes time, we also offer the option to upload multiple files at once.

1. Uploading a file to your website

1. Once you have logged in to your account, enter the Post Files section of your account

 

2. To upload a file, scroll down to the File Details box and fill in the file title, description, and choose your file to upload

2. Uploading multiple files to your website at once

1. Once you have logged in to your account, enter the Post Files section of your account

 

2. If you'd like to upload multiple files, complete the File Details form as you normally would.  Instead of clicking the Upload File button, click the + Add Another File button and fill in the form again.  Repeat this process as many times as you'd like, the File Queue on the right will populate as new files are added.

 

3. Once you have finished choosing files to upload, click the Upload # Files button to upload them all at once

 


 

3. Deleting files from your website

1. Once you have logged in to your account, enter the Post Files section of your account

 

2. In the list of Your Files, click the delete icon next to the name of the file.  After, you will be prompted to confirm the deletion, click Yes on this screen and the file will be removed.

 


 

4. Attaching files to a post on your website

If you've uploaded files to your account, you can attach any of these files to a post on your website.  This means you can link directly to any file uploaded from anywhere on your website.  To do so:

1. Log in to your account and enter the Pages & Posts section of your account

 

2. Create a new post or open an existing post for you to attach a file to

 

3. Click your mouse cursor in your post where you want the file to appear, then click the INSERT IMAGE, FILE, OR MEDIA button above the text editor

 

4. Choose the File option from the box that pops up

 

5. In the next menu, simply click on the Insert button next to the file name you'd like to attach to your post.

 

6. A new link should appear in your post directly where your mouse cursor was placed.  You can also edit the link to read as you please.

 


 

5. Placing images in a post on your website

If you've uploaded images to your account, you can place any of these images to a post on your website.  This means you can link directly to any file uploaded from anywhere on your website.  To do so:

1. Log in to your account and enter the Pages & Posts section of your account

 

2. Create a new post or open an existing post for you to place the image in

 

3. Click your mouse cursor in your post where you want the image to appear, then click the INSERT IMAGE, FILE, OR MEDIA button above the text editor

 

4. Choose the Image option from the box that pops up

 

5. Select the option to choose an image from your library of uploaded files

 

6. In the next menu, simply click on the XXXXXXXXX button next to the file name you'd like to attach to your post.

 

7. Your image should now appear in your post directly where your mouse cursor was placed.  You can resize by dragging its corners and you can edit other image properties by right clicking on the image and choosing the option "Insert/Edit Image".
